Quilt Raffle Winner Announced
AAUW Funds
We have a winnerof the AAUW-inspired quilt. Jan Bowden held the winning ticket drawn on Sunday Decembr 4. HHL branch members and guests gathered for food and one last chance to buy a winning ticket. But Jan beat them all, winning the AAUW inspired wall hanging donated by fiber artist Jacqueline Dukes
The branch thanks Jackii for donating the hand-stitched and hand-quilted wall hanging and all of those who bought chances to win it. All proceeds support AAUW Funds.
If you missed buying a ticket but would like to support women in their thrust for education, please donate at www.aauw.org or send us an email for more information. Thank you for supporting AAUW Funds.

Your Money
What would your family do with another $11,500 every year? Save more for you children's education? Move to a better neighborhood school? Get better dental or medical care? Why do we ask? In Ohio, women's median income is more than $11,500 less than men's.

Because women earn less, on average, than men, they must work longer to receive the same amount of pay.
Read about AAUW's position on pay equity and find more resources on this topic. Find out what AAUW has done for you.
