Heights-Hillcrest-Lyndhurst, Ohio Branch AAUW Print E-mail

Heights-Hillcrest-Lyndhurst Branch has a long history of activism. Its membership is diverse in age, background, race, ethnicity, experience and interests. Branch members live across the Northeast Ohio area.

Branch meetings are usually at public venues on the fourth Wednesday of the month from September through May. Interest groups and committees schedule meetings on various days. Guests and prospective members are always welcome.

This year we continue to work on and advise the Ohio’s Making History Project to provide copies of The New Little Book: OGT Social Studies to public schools throughout the state.

HHL is one of 49 branches in AAUW/Ohio and of more than 1,000 branches in the Association. Ohio membership numbers more than 1,700.

AAUW is a national organization that promotes equity in education and the workplace for all women and girls. Our commitment to these issues is reflected in our public policy efforts, programs, and diversity initiatives.
